Words by Marshall Watson: "Quietly Lost was composed in 2017/2018 and is inspired by events that had a deep impact on mine or my family’s life. These songs mark the loss of my Mother in Law, the terrible fires in Paradise CA, the smoke that filled the streets in San Francisco and the emptiness of a lonely road that no longer holds a reason to return. And even though this might sound particularly sad, my intention was more of reverence than sadness. “Quietly lost” was how I felt at the time, and this music is a reflection of those moments."
